AMRG & Associate is hiring a Legal Associate.

Eligibility

• Thorough knowledge of the Indirect tax provisions
• Zeal to know and keep oneself updated with the happenings in the field
• Knowledge of Indirect tax regulations, treaties etc.
• Demonstrating innovative and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Good interpersonal skills
• Passion for client servicing
• An eye for details
• Efficiency in MS office and writing skills
• Ownership and responsible outlook towards the role.
• Qualification- LL.B.
• Experience- 2-3 years

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the litigation aspect of Indirect Tax cases including drafting, research, appreances and other case related work
• Co-ordinating with departmental authorities and visiting the tax offices for follow-up, rectification, refund etc.
• Analysis of the Indirect Tax provisions along with recent updates in international taxation as well.
• Conducting Indirect tax briefings
• Coordinating with partners
• Active participation in publication work on behalf of the firm
• Handling and assisting the team in Indirect legal issues
• Assisting in advisory projects including technical research, drafting and presentations
