About the Job

Alba Law Offices is hiring Associate/Senior Associate – Real Estate (Due Diligence) for its New Delhi office. The role involves handling title due diligence, preparing due diligence reports, reviewing transaction documents, and advising on real estate transactions.

Eligibility

Applicants should have:

• An LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
• 4–5 years of post-qualification experience in real estate due diligence and documentation.
• Prior law firm experience (mandatory).
• A strong understanding of property laws, registration procedures, stamp duty, RERA, and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct title due diligence and prepare due diligence reports for real estate transactions.
• Draft, review, and vet transaction documents, including sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and memoranda of understanding (MoUs).
• Review land records, encumbrance certificates, and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate independently with clients and local counsels.
