About the Job
Alba Law Offices is hiring an Associate / Senior Associate for its Real Estate Due Diligence team. The role is intended for candidates with prior law firm experience in real estate due diligence and documentation.
Eligibility
Candidates applying for the role should have:
- An LL.B. degree from a recognised university
- 4–5 years of post-qualification experience in real estate due diligence and documentation
- Mandatory prior law firm experience
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to independently coordinate with clients and local counsels
Responsibilities
- Conducting title due diligence and preparing reports for real estate transactions
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting transaction documents including:
- Sale deeds
- Lease deeds
- Development agreements
- NDAs
- MoUs
- Reviewing land records, encumbrance certificates, and regulatory documents
- Handling matters involving property laws, registration procedures, stamp duty, RERA, and IBC provisions
- Coordinating independently with clients and local counsels
