The Socio-Legal Information Centre (SLIC) is a collective of lawyers and social activists who provide pro bono legal support to vulnerable and disadvantaged sections of society.
SLIC works closely with communities and social movements and encourages lawyers who are committed to human rights and community engagement to apply.
About the Job
SLIC is inviting applications for the position of Lawyer at its offices in:
- Delhi
- Mumbai
- Ahmedabad
- Bangalore
- Hyderabad
- Gwalior
- Rajasthan
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
- 3–5 years of work experience, preferably in the High Court
- Strong research skills and familiarity with Indian legal research databases
- Ability to use online legal research tools
- Willingness to work with communities and social movements for human rights
- Willingness to travel or relocate as determined by the organization
Preference will be given to applicants from marginalized communities.
