KLE Law College Bengaluru Wins 4th All India National Moot Court Competition by Soundarya College of Law

KLE Law College, Bengaluru, has secured first place at the 4th All India National Moot Court Competition organised by Soundarya College of Law. The competition was held on October 23 and 24, 2026, bringing recognition to the college and its participating team.
The winning team comprised Ullas M., a third-year B.B.A. LL.B. student who participated as Speaker I, Aakriti Sharma, a third-year LL.B. student who appeared as Speaker II, and Babitha K. B., a third-year B.B.A. LL.B. student who served as the researcher.

Along with winning the overall competition, the team also received individual recognition. Babitha K. B. was awarded the Best Researcher Award for her performance during the competition, giving KLE Law College an additional achievement at the national-level event.
Moot court competitions provide law students with an opportunity to develop practical skills that are closely connected with legal practice. Participants are generally required to study a legal problem, conduct detailed research, prepare arguments and present their submissions before judges.
The achievement of the KLE Law College team reflects the importance of coordination between speakers and researchers in a moot court competition. While speakers are responsible for presenting oral arguments, researchers play a central role in identifying legal authorities and supporting the arguments placed before the judges.
