Khemka & Associates is hiring a Junior Associate (Litigation) for its Mumbai office.

This position is ideal for individuals serious about building a career in litigation and strengthening their practical courtroom fundamentals through hands-on exposure.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized institution
• Bar Council enrolment with a valid Certificate of Practice
• 6 months to 2 years of litigation experience (motivated freshers may also apply)
• Familiarity with courts in Mumbai and surrounding jurisdictions
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in English (Marathi is a plus)
• Working knowledge of MS Office, PDF tools, and e-filing systems
• Reliable and detail-oriented
• Willing to learn and develop strong litigation fundamentals
• Committed to long-term litigation practice

Responsibilities

• Attend court hearings and assist with appearances
• Prepare briefs, lists of dates, and case documentation
• Conduct legal research for ongoing matters
• Assist in drafting applications, affidavits, and pleadings (under supervision)
• Handle court filings and procedural requirements
• Support the team in case preparation and litigation-related work
