About The Event

In an age of rapid industrialisation and growing environmental concerns, understanding the intersection of labour rights and environmental protection has never been more important. The DME Legal Aid Cell presents a two-day Legal Fest to promote legal awareness, encourage critical thinking, and bridge the gap between legal theory and practice. Through engaging events such as an Expert Panel Discussion and a Mock Lok Adalat, participants will explore contemporary legal challenges, strengthen advocacy and problem-solving skills, and contribute to advancing access to justice and sustainable development.

Eligibility 

  1. Expert Panel Discussion– Open For All
  2. Mock Lok Adalat– The competition is open to all students currently enrolled in either a 5 year or a 3-year law program at a recognized law school or university in India.
  3. Multiple Teams are allowed to participate from a single Institution.
  4. Composition: – 3 Members per team

Theme

The theme of the event is Beyond Codes: Human Rights of Labourers, Eco-Compliance & Access to Justice for Victims. Join us at Jan Nyaya Mahotsav 2026, a two-day legal fest dedicated to promoting labour rights, environmental justice, and access to justice. Through Mok Lok Adalat and Expert Panel Discussions, the fest aims to inspire legal awareness, social responsibility, and practical solutions to contemporary legal challenges.
