About the Opportunity

The Centre for Sports Law (CSL), UPES School of Law, is pleased to announce Codex Sportivus, an International Sports Law Quiz Competition, organised as part of Vidhiutsav 2026—the annual legal fest of UPES School of Law.

The competition explores the dynamic intersection of sports and law, covering areas such as international sports regulations, arbitration, anti-doping laws, contracts, and intellectual property. It provides law students with a unique platform to test their legal acumen, network with peers, and showcase their expertise on an international stage.

Eligibility

• Law students (India & Abroad)
• The maximum number of participants in a team is two.

Registration Fee

• Domestic Participation: 800/-  for the team and 500/- for the individual
• International Participation: $8 for the team and $5 for the individual

Accommodation Fee

900/- applies only to participants who are qualified for the offline rounds.

Prizes

• Winning Team—Rs 8000 cash prize + certificate of merit
• Runner-Up Team – Rs 6000 cash prize + certificate of merit
• 2nd Runner-Up Team – Rs 4000 cash prize + certificate of merit

• Online Round: 7 March 2026
• Offline Rounds: 10–12 April 2026
