About the Opportunity

Lex Bonanza: A Legacy of Legal Excellence, Indore Institute of Law proudly hosted India’s first International Law Fest, Lex Bonanza, in 2012, creating a platform for students to showcase legal talent, develop professional skills, and engage with the global legal community. Over the years, the fest has been graced by distinguished jurists and legal professionals, including former Chief Justices of India, Supreme Court and High Court judges, and leading Senior Advocates.

From its sixth edition in 2017, Lex Bonanza expanded internationally, attracting teams from institutions across the UK, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and several other countries. Subsequent editions continued to grow, with participation from 100+ teams and 321+ participants in 2025. Today, Lex Bonanza stands as a prestigious international legal fest, reflecting IIL’s commitment to legal excellence, global collaboration, and holistic student development.

Eligibility

• Students currently pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. programme from a recognized institution are eligible to participate.
• Students currently enrolled in Classes XI and XII are also eligible to participate in the International Debate Competition, International Extempore Competition, and International Street Play Competition.

The overarching theme for the fifteenth chapter of Lex Bonanza is: Cyber Security & Emerging Technology Law — Media Law, Digital Law and Emerging Technologies
