HNLU Team Finishes Runners-Up at Asia Pacific Commercial Mediation Competition 2026
A team from Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) emerged as Runners-Up at the Asia Pacific Commercial Mediation Competition, 2026, organised by the Australian Dispute Centre. The competition was held from 28 to 30 August 2026.
The HNLU team comprised Karnika Gaira, Prashansa Verma and Arushi Yadav, all fourth-year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) students. The team was also adjudged Best Team for Relationship Building, recognising its performance in advocacy, negotiation and collaborative dispute resolution.

As part of the recognition, the students were also offered an internship opportunity with the Australian Dispute Centre. The achievement adds to HNLU’s international accomplishments in mediation and alternative dispute resolution competitions.
