About the Job

They are working with a global startup to hire their Head of Legal for the India Office. The position is based out of Delhi NCR

Eligibility

• Only Candidates with 10+ years of experience apply
• Only candidates based in Delhi NCR or willing to relocate apply
• You must be an LLB graduate with at-least ten plus years of experience ideally in a start-up or a fast-paced work environment. CS qualification is desirable but not essential. You must be a self-starter with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate and manage various business agreements including, but not limited to, Distribution Agreements, Equipment Purchase Agreements, Influencer
• Agreements, Marketing Agreements, Agreements with OEM, Service Agreements, CHA MSA, Employment Agreements, etc.
• Advise on a range of commercial matters, including, FDI, customs, brand authorizations, IP/trademark violations, etc.
• Support different business teams such as Logistics, HR, Finance, Sales & Distribution, Marketing/PR, etc. on day-to-day legal-commercial issues.
• Handle consumer disputes and other litigation-related cases.
• Develop and periodically review the internal and external policy framework of the Company in alignment with other stakeholders.
• Provide advice on the applicability of various laws on product compliances and timely obtain permissions/licenses for the sale of the products. Further, ensure compliance under the various Environmental laws.
• Ensure timely Compliance of Company Secretarial requirements.
• Work along with Global legal teams and other business teams on various issues affecting the Company.
