Hero MotoCorp is hiring for the role of Head Legal – Litigation. The role involves managing the organisation’s litigation portfolio, legal advisory functions, compliance matters, intellectual property rights management, and legal support across business functions and manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Managing the company’s litigation portfolio and reducing litigation exposure
• Contesting and handling cases filed by and against the company
• Coordinating with external advocates and reviewing legal drafts, petitions, replies, and related documents
• Reviewing and strengthening contracts in line with regulatory updates, notifications, and judicial decisions
• Managing the company’s Intellectual Property Rights portfolio, including:
  • Patents
  • Designs
  • Trademarks
• Filing registrations, renewals, and taking legal action for protection of IPRs
• Providing legal support to manufacturing plants on:
  • Labour law matters
  • Legal Metrology Act compliance
  • PF and gratuity matters
  • Industrial relations issues
  • Vendor-related disputes
• Supporting departments including:
  • Manufacturing
  • HR
  • Finance
  • Commercial Marketing
  • Vendor Development
  • CAD
  • CIT
• Advising business teams on legal risks and commercial transactions
• Conducting legal training and issuing advisories to departments
