About the Job

Ernst & Young is seeking applications for the position of Graduate Law Trainee. The role involves supporting indirect tax advisory, compliance, and audit-related functions while assisting clients with tax planning and regulatory requirements.

Eligibility

• Candidates should be a CA and Lawyers with 1 year of experience.
• Candidates in the 5th year of law college may also apply.
• In-depth understanding of indirect tax regulations and compliance requirements applicable across industries.
• Ability to analyze and interpret tax legislation and provide strategic advisory support.
• Experience in conducting indirect tax audits and reviews.
• Ability to formulate and implement indirect tax strategies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in indirect tax compliance and advisory assignments.
• Analyze and interpret indirect tax laws and regulations.
• Support indirect tax audits and reviews to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies for clients.
• Communicate indirect tax implications and regulatory requirements to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
