About the Book

The edited volume is titled “Justice Beyond Courts: ADR in an Age of Legal Innovation.” The book aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students to critically examine the transformation of dispute resolution mechanisms in the modern legal landscape. Upon final approval, the Society will coordinate with a renowned publishing house for editing, peer review coordination, and wider dissemination of the volume in both Print and eBook formats. Approximately 15–17 chapters will be selected for final publication.

About the Call for Chapters

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) has evolved from a supplementary mechanism to a central pillar of contemporary justice systems. In an era marked by technological disruption, globalization, and increasing complexity of disputes, ADR presents innovative pathways for achieving fairness, efficiency, and access to justice beyond traditional courtrooms. This Call for Chapters invites scholarly contributions that explore these dynamic legal transformations.

Eligibility

Academicians, legal practitioners, research scholars, and law students are invited duly to submit. Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted.

Theme

Indicative Sub-Themes

  • Theoretical Foundations of ADR
  • Technology and Digital Transformation (AI, blockchain, ODR platforms)
  • ADR in Specific Legal Domains (Family, commercial, environmental, labour, etc.)
  • Cultural, Regional, and Comparative Perspectives
  • Access, Equity, and Social Justice
  • Transnational Disputes and Global Justice

Submission Categories

  • Abstract: Maximum 350 words outlining the theme, methodology, and key arguments.
  • Full Chapter: 4,000–6,000 words (excluding references).

Formatting Guidelines

  • Main Text: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 spacing.
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, Size 10, single spacing. (Speaking footnotes are discouraged).
  • Citation Format: ILI (latest edition).

Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions must be original and unpublished.
  • Plagiarism exceeding 10% (including footnotes and bibliography) shall result in instant rejection.
  • The manuscript must be politically neutral and language used must not be abusive, defamatory, or unparliamentary.
  • Fee Details (APC): The Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after the final acceptance of the manuscript.
    • Single Author: ₹699
    • Co-Author: ₹799
  • Authors whose chapters are accepted and published will be awarded Certificates of Publication.

Submission Deadline

  • Submission of Abstract: June 20, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: June 25, 2026
  • Submission of Full Chapter: July 10, 2026
  • Peer Review and Feedback: July 10, 2026
  • Final Acceptance & Payment of APC: July 25, 2026
  • Publication (Print & eBook): August 2026
