The School of Legal Studies, Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow, is organizing the 1st Justice D.P. Gupta Moot Court Competition – 2026 in honour of Hon’ble Justice D.P. Gupta, Former Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, whose remarkable contribution to the legal fraternity continues to inspire generations of law students and professionals.

About 1st Justice D.P. Gupta Moot Court Competition 2026

The competition aims to provide an excellent platform for budding legal minds to enhance their advocacy, legal research, drafting, and courtroom skills through healthy academic interaction and competitive learning.

The moot court competition will bring together students from law universities and colleges across the country and provide them an opportunity to engage with complex legal issues, prepare written submissions, and present oral arguments before experienced panels.
