Paytm Money Limited is seeking a Deputy General Manager/General Manager – Legal for a non-litigation role. The position focuses on contract drafting and negotiation, contract lifecycle management, vendor-related legal matters, and regulatory compliance, particularly with respect to SEBI outsourcing regulations.

Eligibility
- Strong experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
- Experience in handling legal agreements, vendor contracts, and contract management processes.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, particularly those relating to outsourcing arrangements.
- Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
Responsibilities
Contract Drafting and Negotiation
- Draft, review, vet, and negotiate commercial agreements, including:
- Vendor Contracts
- Service Agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Technology Contracts
- SaaS Agreements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to finalize agreements while safeguarding the company’s interests.
Contract Management
- Maintain and update contract trackers to monitor agreement lifecycles, renewal dates, and contractual obligations.
- Ensure timely execution, renewal, closure, and archival of agreements.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations relating to outsourcing of critical activities.
- Review vendor arrangements and agreements to assess adherence to applicable outsourcing guidelines.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to secure necessary approvals and disclosures.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management regarding contract status, legal risks, and compliance observations.
- Address queries from internal teams relating to agreements and regulatory compliance matters.
Policy Adherence and Process Improvement
- Assist in developing and implementing legal processes, templates, and best practices.
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections relating to outsourcing arrangements.
