About the Job

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring regulatory adherence, managing audits, monitoring risk controls, and embedding compliance requirements into Kuvera’s operations. The role involves close collaboration with regulators, industry stakeholders, and internal teams to maintain a strong governance framework.

Eligibility

• CA / CS / CMA / CFA or postgraduate degree in finance, law, commerce, business, or related fields.
• 3–6 years of experience in financial services (BFSI, fintech, payments).
• Minimum 2 years in compliance, regulatory, or risk roles.
• Working knowledge of IFSCA, RBI, and NPCI regulations preferred.
• Certifications in AML/CFT or relevant compliance areas are advantageous.
• Must meet IFSCA fit and proper criteria (integrity, competence, financial soundness).

Responsibilities

• Track updates from IFSCA, RBI, and NPCI (UPI, BBPS, PA/PPI).
• Convert regulatory circulars into actionable tasks and oversee implementation.
• Prepare regulatory submissions and maintain compliance trackers.
• Embed compliance requirements into PSP, TPAP onboarding, and BBPS workflows.
• Draft, update, and maintain policies, SOPs, and training material.
• Ensure operational controls are implemented and followed.
• Manage audit readiness, documentation, and evidence collation.
• Track audit observations and ensure timely closure.
• Support regulatory reporting (returns, STRs, ombudsman cases).
• Monitor AML, fraud, sanctions, and operational risk controls.
• Identify gaps, flag risks, and track remediation.
• Escalate critical issues to the Principal Officer.
• Collaborate with product, tech, ops, and legal teams to implement compliance requirements.
• Stay updated on regulatory and industry developments.
