About the Job

The Legal Executive will play a key role in supporting the legal and compliance function of Capital Now. This is a hands-on role suited for professionals with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience, particularly those interested in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and contract management in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Eligibility

• LLB degree (LLM preferred).
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, fintech/compliance, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, NBFC/LSP framework, and data privacy laws (IT Act, DPDP Act).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail with a structured, process-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines applicable to NBFCs and Lending Service Providers.
• Track, review, and summarise RBI circulars related to lending, outsourcing, customer communication, and data privacy.
• Assist in RBI inspections, statutory audits, and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate responses for RBI CMS complaints and regulatory grievances.
• Support grievance redressal frameworks in line with norms.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with vendors, SaaS partners, API integrations, payment gateways, and credit bureaus.
• Prepare customer-facing documents such as loan agreements and grievance policies.
• Review NBFC–LSP agreements for compliance and liability boundaries.
• Maintain a contract repository with renewal and compliance tracking.
• Review app store listings for compliance with Google Play and Apple App Store policies.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams on policy reviews and regulatory escalations.
• Align product flows and customer journeys with regulatory expectations.
