About the Job
ZS is hiring an Associate Counsel to join its Legal team in Pune. The role involves supporting global contracting activities, providing legal assistance across business functions, advising on legal matters, and contributing to the firm’s risk management and compliance efforts.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree with a strong academic background.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
- International legal experience and foreign language competencies are preferred.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Flexibility to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders globally.
- Basic knowledge of contract management tools.
- Proficiency in using proprietary AI tools to improve workflows and productivity.
- Experience in service provider/vendor contract transactions is preferred.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Support the global contracting process.
- Review, revise, and negotiate client agreements, including confidentiality agreements, master services agreements, software licensing agreements, data access agreements, and data processing agreements.
- Draft and manage standard ZS contract templates.
- Respond to legal queries relating to client RFPs and RFIs.
- Assist in managing contracting processes.
- Provide legal support across business functions and client practice areas.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
