About the Job

ideaForge is hiring an IP Assistant Manager for its Intellectual Property team in Navi Mumbai. The role involves conducting patent searches, supporting patent prosecution, managing patent portfolios, and collaborating with inventors on intellectual property matters.

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Candidates with qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biochemical Engineering, or related disciplines are not eligible.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the patent analysis field.
• Patent drafting experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in an IP law firm environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patentability and novelty searches.
• Conduct prior-art, invalidation, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches.
• Prepare examination and office action responses.
• Conduct Evidence of Use (EoU) analysis.
• Interact with inventors regarding patent-related matters.
• Carry out secondary research and competitive benchmarking.
• Manage the patent portfolio.

• Strong technical background.
