About the Job

Kunal Khanna & Co. is hiring an Associate (0–3 years PQE) focused on Intellectual Property Rights, with exposure to counterfeit enforcement and digital infringement matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file plaints, written statements, injunctions, replies, and other pleadings in IP matters.
• Assist in counterfeit enforcement actions: prepare search & seizure requests, brief Local Commissioners, coordinate with enforcement agencies.
• Execute online brand protection: notice-and-takedown on e-commerce marketplaces, social media, and websites.
• Conduct legal research and case-law analysis; prepare concise case notes and strategy briefs.
• Handle day-to-day case follow-ups with clients, court staff, and registries; maintain structured case files and evidence sets.
• Attend hearings, assist seniors/counsel, and support litigation strategy.

Eligibility & Skills

• LL.B. from a recognised university; 0–3 years in IPR litigation preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in trademarks/copyright and enforcement.
• Solid drafting & research basics; detail-oriented and organised.
• Clear communication; team player.
• Mandatory on-site presence at the office.
