About the Job

IPR Law Associates is looking for an Associate with approximately 1–2 years of relevant experience in IP prosecution, opposition, and litigation to join its team.

This role offers hands-on exposure, close mentorship, and meaningful involvement in diverse IP matters.

Experience Required

Approximately 1–2 years of relevant experience in Intellectual Property law.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university
• Enrolled and eligible to practice law in India

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Handling IP prosecution, opposition, and litigation matters relating to Trademarks, Copyrights, and Industrial Designs
• Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing documents such as:
  • Notice of Opposition
  • Counter Statement
  • Evidence under Rules 45, 46, and 47
  • Cease and Desist Notices and Replies
  • Deed of Assignment
  • Rectification Notice and Rectification Counters
• Assisting in and attending IP-related litigation before relevant Tribunals and Courts
• Representing clients before IP statutory authorities and Courts, as required
• Working closely with the litigation team on case strategy
• Providing practical and well-reasoned legal advice to clients
• Supporting clients through various stages of IP protection, enforcement, and dispute resolution
