About the Job

Aretha Legal is looking to hire an Associate for its corporate team in New Delhi, specialising in PE/VC and M&A transactions. The role involves conducting due diligences, drafting transaction documents, and assisting with post-closing actions.

Eligibility

• Law graduate or post graduate from a reputable law school
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (mandatory)
• Good understanding of the Companies Act and contract law
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office and other reporting tools
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Company Secretary qualification is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligences
• Draft transaction documents such as SSA, SPA, SHA, etc.
• Assist with post-closing actions
• Support corporate transactions in PE/VC and M&A practice
