About the Job

The position of Assistant Manager (Data Privacy) involves developing data protection policies and procedures, assessing privacy and protection risks, monitoring data processing activities, and supporting clients on data protection and privacy-related requirements.

Eligibility

Minimum 4+ years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in law, information technology, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
CIPT, CIPM, CIPPE, or other related certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.
Develop data protection policies and procedures in accordance with privacy laws and regulations for clients.
Conduct assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks and develop mitigation strategies as per client requirements.
Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies as per client requirements.
Provide guidance and support to clients on conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, application, and privacy impact assessments.
Design and build security and privacy frameworks.
Design or redesign processes and privacy controls to support framework development for clients.
