About the Job
Position: Assistant Manager (Data Privacy)
The selected candidate will work with Deloitte’s Cyber Team and support clients on data protection, privacy compliance, risk assessments, data governance, and privacy frameworks.
Eligibility
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, information technology, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CIPT, CIPM, CIPPE, or other related certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention of exceeding client expectations.
- Develop data protection policies and procedures in accordance with privacy laws and regulations for clients.
- Conduct assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks and develop mitigation strategies based on client requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies as per client requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to clients on conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, application, and privacy impact assessments.
- Design and build security and privacy frameworks.
- Design or redesign processes and privacy controls to support framework development for clients.
