About the Job
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP is looking for an Assistant Manager (Data Privacy) to work with teams and clients on data protection, privacy compliance, risk assessments, data governance, and privacy frameworks.
Eligibility
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of four years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
CIPT, CIPM, CIPPE, or other related certifications are preferred. Applicants should have in-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
Candidates should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with teams and clients with the aim of exceeding client expectations.
- Develop data protection policies and procedures in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations for clients.
- Conduct assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks and develop mitigation strategies based on client requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies as per client requirements.
- Guide and support clients in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, application assessments, and privacy impact assessments.
- Design and develop security and privacy frameworks.
- Design or redesign processes and privacy controls to support framework development for clients.
