About the International Seminar
The International Seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights: Shaping Creativity in the Digital Age” seeks to provide a dynamic platform for academicians, legal practitioners, policymakers, industry professionals, researchers, and students to engage in meaningful dialogue on the evolving contours of intellectual property law in an era driven by rapid technological advancement.
In the digital age, creativity and innovation are increasingly shaped by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, biotechnology, and digital platforms. While these developments have expanded the scope of creative expression and innovation, they have also posed complex legal, ethical, and regulatory challenges to traditional intellectual property regimes. The seminar aims to critically examine how intellectual property laws can adapt to safeguard creator’s rights while fostering innovation, access, and fair competition in a globalized digital ecosystem.
The seminar will explore contemporary issues including digital copyright and content regulation, patent protection for technological innovations, trademark challenges in online marketplaces, data ownership, protection of software and algorithms, and the impact of international treaties and trade agreements on intellectual property rights. By bringing together diverse perspectives from across jurisdictions, the seminar aspires to contribute to informed policy discourse and promote best practices in intellectual property governance.

The International seminar will be conducted entirely in online mode.
