About the College

Nawada Vidhi Mahavidyalaya is a law college located in Nawada, Bihar, established in 1988. The college is permanently affiliated with Magadh University, Bodhgaya, and recognised by the Bar Council of India. It aims to provide high-standard legal education and has two branches.

About the Seminar

The seminar will take place in a hybrid mode (online/offline). The seminar aims to explore the evolving legal frameworks of AI in the Global South, analyse its socio-economic impacts, and foster dialogue among legal scholars, policymakers, and students. It also seeks to equip participants with insights into AI’s intersection with constitutional law, intellectual property, and human rights.

The seminar will feature special guests and resource persons, including Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra, Chairman of the Bar Council of India, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor) Dharmasashtra National Law University, Jabalpur, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vinod Kumar Sinha (Chairman), Bihar State Law Commission (Chief Guest), Mr. Ujjawal Kumar Sinha ( Member Secretary), Bihar State Law Commission (Guest of Honour), Prof. (Dr.) Jai Shankar Singh (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor) Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (Guest of Honour) and Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar (Professor of Law), Chanakya National Law University, Dean, Academic Affairs And Law Head, Centre for Post Graduate Legal Studies, Principal Investigator, Ministry Of Law And Justice as the prominent guests.

The seminar invites the submission of abstracts and manuscripts (research papers).

Submission Guidelines

  1. Guidelines for Paper Submission and Other Important Guidelines:
  2. The title of the paper should be followed by Name, Designation, Name of the Organisation / University / Institution and Email address. It is mandatory to mention the Email address, as all future correspondence will be through it;
  3. Name and details of Co-author, if any;
  4. Chapterization: Chapter should be in Times New Roman 12-point font and double-spaced. The main Title should be in full capitals, bold and centred in 12 12-point font. Subtitles should be in sentence case, bold and 12-point font. Authors’ names should be in small capitals.

Rules for the Presentation

  • No abstract or full paper shall be accepted after the last date of submission.
  • Participants/Paper Presenters must register after paying the required fees. Registration is mandatory for participation, confirmed upon receipt of payment.
  • Only registered participants will be allowed to take part in the Conference.
  • All the registered participants will be provided with a participation certificate.

How to submit

  1. The abstract (of about 250-300 words, with 7-10 keywords) should be sent as an attachment in a Word file.
  2. The following information, in the given format, should be sent along with the Abstract:
  3. Name of the Participant, Official Designation/Institution Details, Contact number, Address and Email ID,
  4. Title of Abstract.
