The Madhya Pradesh Government is hiring for the “Madhya Pradesh NIPUN Professionals Program”. This is a unique 2-year, full-time, paid experiential opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising youth to lead large-scale system reform towards achieving foundational learning goals in Madhya Pradesh.

About the Program

The Madhya Pradesh NIPUN Professionals program is a unique 2-year, full-time, paid experiential opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising youth to lead large-scale system reform towards achieving foundational learning goals in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Each year, a dynamic cohort of 52 Professionals will work with the district administration towards catalyzing the implementation of the state Foundational Literacy & Numeracy mission, and in the process, cultivate the leadership skills and mindsets required for solving complex problems at scale.

Eligibility

• Must be an Indian citizen
• Must be under or exactly 30 years of age as of 1st May 2023
• Must possess graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university with a minimum 55% pass percentage or an equivalent CGPA in their highest qualification
• Minimum 12 months of full-time work experience with a Postgraduate qualification OR minimum 24 months of full-time work experience with an Undergraduate degree (excluding internships or any part-time engagements)
• Fluent in spoken and written Hindi and English

Responsibilities

The MP NIPUN Professional will work closely with district collectors, CEO-ZP and district education team to build system capacity, strengthen governance structures, drive data-based decision making and energize the district ecosystem to ultimately improve student learning outcomes.

(1) Diagnosis of implementation issues
● Generating insights from the ground through stakeholder consultations
● Providing feedback to the state program

(2) Building capacity of functionaries
● Reinforcing key messages and priorities
● Providing handholding support
● Energizing the cadre and community through local campaigns

(3) Strengthening the monitoring systems
● Streamlining data collection and analysis
● Improving data reliability
● Improving the quality of review meetings

NIPUN Professionals will execute multiple projects to drive implementation across Mission Ankur (NIPUN Madhya Pradesh) initiatives.
In addition, each NIPUN Professional will also undergo a structured professional development journey specially curated by experts from the social sector and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.

Salary

As an MP NIPUN Professional, you will be entitled to a monthly compensation of Rs 80,000/- (all inclusive).
