Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad (SLS-H), founded on the principles of expertise, justice, and service, aims to impart quality legal education aligning with International Standards. Established in 2014, SLS-H has rapidly emerged as a premier institution for legal studies, rooted in the idea of “Symbiosis” which reflects the Vedic principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – implying the world is one family. About Centre for Human Rights

The Centre for Human Rights at SLS-H was established in 2017 to understand regional, national, and international human rights issues. Its motto is “Protection of Human Rights towards an amicable tomorrow.” The Centre collaborates with universities like Edinboro University and provides legal aid to Rohingya refugees in Hyderabad. It offers a platform for students to discuss and research topics through competitions and events.

The Centre also correlates human rights with new areas of law, such as the Entertainment Industry and the interplay between Human Rights and Technology. The Centre aims to contribute to the global knowledge of human rights through research projects and uplift dignity, justice, and equality for all individuals globally.
