About SPIL, Mumbai

In an increasingly integrated world, with growing transnational interactions, the significance of international law has never been greater. International events have come to dominate the domestic landscape. In order to understand the tumultuous nature of international relations and to promote a greater awareness and understanding of international law, the students at Government Law College, Mumbai formed Students for the Promotion of International Law, Mumbai (SPIL, Mumbai) in the year 2009.

In recognition of the International Anti-Corruption Day, SPIL Mumbai is proud to host a thought-provoking guest webinar in collaboration with Transparency International, a global leader in the fight against corruption. The topic for the Guest Webinar is “Addressing Systematic Corruption: Analysing Core Challenges and Key Instruments in the Fight Against Corruption”.

About the Speaker

Katja Gloor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance, corporate governance, and international business law. She holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of Zurich, where she specialised in international business transactions and technology transfers. Katja also completed the “Fundamentals of Data Protection” module at the University of St. Gallen.

Addressing this issue is not just desirable but essential to building robust legal frameworks capable of fostering equity and accountability across borders.
