About Frieden ADR Club

With the Motto of “united for mutual understanding, mutual help, and mutual growth” FRIEDEN, the ADR Club. This club is primarily dedicated to nurturing young leaders, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for fostering peaceful resolutions, promoting positive interactions, and engaging in equitable dialogue for efficient negotiations.

About The Competition

The Trithi Mediation Competition aims to provide students with a platform to hone their mediation and negotiation skills while promoting alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms. The competition will consist of multiple rounds where participants will engage in simulated mediation sessions, enhancing their ability to resolve disputes effectively.

The competition will witness participation from law students across the country, judged by esteemed professionals and experts in the field. It offers a unique opportunity for students to showcase their advocacy and mediation abilities while networking with like-minded individuals and ADR practitioners.

Eligibility

• Open to students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LLB program from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Each university/college can send a maximum of two teams.
• Each team must consist of three members: a Mediating Pair (Client & Counsel) and a Mediator.

Competition Structure

• Date: 20th – 21st March 2025
• Venue: ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad

Rounds

• Preliminary Rounds (March 20, 2025)
• Semi-Final Round (March 21, 2025)
• Final Round (March 21, 2025)

Registration Details

• Registration Fee: ₹499/- per team
• Accommodation Fee: ₹500 per person per day (first-come, first-served basis)
• Payment details will be shared via email upon successful registration.
