About the Job
Vacancy for Transactions Lawyer – Interim Role (Fund). Competitive salary and a diverse 360-degree role to be working with an established fund.
Eligibility
- 2-to-4 years PQE as a legal counsel/associate in a reputed law firm/investment fund/in-house M&A or corporate development team.
- Possess an accredited LL.B. (bachelor’s in law) degree.
- Sound judgment and ability to analyze legal precedents and documents & good communication and drafting skills.
Responsibilities
- managing the Fund’s equity investment transactions across many locations;
- drafting, reviewing, and analyzing investment agreements (Term Sheet, SSA, SHA, SPA, and other legal papers) and providing advice to the business team and external stakeholders as needed;
- supervising legal due diligence and identifying important issues in a transaction;
- portfolio management includes analyzing and processing corporate actions as well as consent requests from portfolio firms;
- administering and enforcing internal governance principles, as well as monitoring legal and regulatory compliance inside the organization.
