About the Job

Cogneesol is looking for an experienced Team Lead – Legal Operations (Contract Lifecycle Management) to drive operational excellence, lead a high-performing team, and scale their CLM capabilities.

Eligibility

• LLB or equivalent degree.
• 5–7 years of legal experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong CLM and commercial contracts experience.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team handling contract drafting, review, abstraction, and negotiation.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS, procurement contracts).
• Act as the first point of escalation for stakeholders and clients.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and CLM tool adoption (Icertis, Docusign, Ironclad, Linksquare).
• Identify risks and ensure legal and policy compliance.
