Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) is a Public Charitable Trust registered under the Societies Registration Act, of 1860 and The Bombay Public Trusts Act, of 1950. SVKM has always been committed to the cause of providing high-quality education at various levels. The mandal today has grown into a large educational enterprise imparting high-level education to more than 32,000 students.
The ethos of the Mandal, marked by patriotic fervor, selfless service, and the spirit of indigenous enterprise, has its genesis in the days of India’s struggle for freedom.

This institution recognizes the fact that there are lodges within the heart of every student that spark creativity that, is the essence of singularity in every individual. Beginning from the premise, the college structures its learning program in order to identify, hone in on, and unearth this reserve of creativity. To this effect, the college harnesses modern methods of teaching which encourage students to learn inside and outside the classroom.
This institution provides the students with varied platforms to develop their skills; by way of debates at the intra and inter-collegiate levels; Seminars, workshops, trial advocacy through moot court competitions, the Juris-cine club, L’avocat an in-house student newsletter which enables students to air their passionate concerns on issues, topical or otherwise, and innovative interactive methods of study in the classroom create an ambiance that fosters intellectual growth.
About CCR
SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law’s Centre for Conflict Resolution was established with the aim of promoting Alternate Dispute Resolution as an effective method of dispute resolution. The Centre has organized several seminars, simulation tournaments, training programs, and success stories discussions with the aim of giving young aspirants practical insights as well as spreading awareness and conducting research in ADR.
About ADR Training Week
The ADR Training Week is a unique initiative of the Centre for Conflict Resolution. The objective of this training program is to help students understand the arbitration practice, the legal framework, the skills required for arbitration lawyers and arbitrators, and career opportunities in the field of ADR. The training week will comprise interactive sessions with leading speakers and workshops.
