Sanofi is hiring a Specialist, Contract Obligations Monitoring to support its Procurement Services function within the Business Operations Business Unit. The role focuses on supplier onboarding, contract obligations management, stakeholder coordination, compliance monitoring, and continuous process improvement to ensure effective contract lifecycle management.
Eligibility
Candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or another business discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in contract obligations management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and manage data accurately.
- Experience in contract administration, data entry, or records management within a structured enterprise environment.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding activities while meeting defined service level agreements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Experience in contract management and/or vendor management.
- Experience using contract management software, preferably AI-powered Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) or obligation management tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in global or matrixed international environments.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management platforms and obligations tracking tools.
- Understanding of procurement or supplier management processes within a large corporate environment.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as French or Spanish will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting supplier onboarding and contract obligations setup by collecting, validating, and maintaining contract-related data.
- Reviewing contract documents and recording contractual obligations within the obligations management platform.
- Validating ownership and accountability for contractual obligations.
- Maintaining accurate records of obligation categories, due dates, responsible parties, and related metadata.
- Conducting stakeholder training on the obligations management platform.
- Coordinating supplier offboarding activities in accordance with defined procedures.
- Monitoring contractual obligations through periodic reviews, spot checks, and validation exercises.
- Identifying potential non-compliance and escalating issues with supporting documentation.
- Coordinating with legal, finance, compliance, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Preparing onboarding status reports and responding to stakeholder queries.
- Contributing to process improvements, including the adoption of AI-enabled technologies.
- Supporting contract excellence initiatives by ensuring high-quality obligations data.
- Participating in the testing and implementation of new digital tools for contract obligations management.
