Position-Senior Specialist
Eligibility
Qualifications
- LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized university.
- 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in contract review and negotiation.
- Experience with contract playbooks, approval workflows, and contract management systems is preferred.
Skills
- Solid understanding of contract law and commercial legal principles.
- Ability to review and negotiate contracts with guidance.
- Familiarity with CLM platforms (e.g., Icertis, Conga, Agiloft, DocuSign) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, POs, vendor agreements, and licensing agreements, under supervision.
- Apply contract playbooks and established guidelines to ensure consistent and compliant contract review.
- Identify and escalate non-standard terms and risks to senior team members or relevant functional groups.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (procurement, finance, business units) to align contract terms with business objectives.
- Support the contract approval workflow and maintain accurate records of contract reviews and negotiations.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of contract templates and playbooks.
- Learn and utilize CLM tools and Microsoft Office applications for contract management.
- Participate in training sessions and support junior team members as needed.
