About the Job

Equicorp Associates is looking to hire three Associates/ Senior Associates for their office in Delhi.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Law degree and registered with Bar Council of India
• Litigation: 2
• Associate: PQE: 4+ Years
• Ability to independently advise clients pertaining to the dispute resolution practice area.
• Knowledge of drafting, notices, suits, petitions, appeals, applications etc. for civil and commercial disputes
• Should be able to represent and appear before various Courts, tribunals and quasi-judicial bodies.
• The candidate should also have good analytical and drafting skills.
• Corporate & Commercial Law: 1
• Associate: PQE: 2+ Years

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and vetting memorandum of understanding, terms sheets, and commercial contracts, such as agreements for the sale and purchase of goods, agreements for rendition of services, joint ventures and partnership agreements, shareholders and subscription agreements, investment agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, agreements for assignment of intellectual property rights, trade and technology transfer agreements, etc.
• Having prior experience in due diligence, drafting legal opinions on commercial legal issues, and knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, and Contract Act, 1872 is a must.
• Ability to analyze commercial transactions and advise clients on various legal aspects, as may be applicable.
• The candidate should also have good analytical and drafting skills.
