Saraf and Partners Advised Info Edge on its Acquisition of Additional 49% Shareholding in Coding Ninjas

Saraf and Partners advised Info Edge (India) Limited (“Info Edge“), a publicly listed company, on its acquisition of a 49% stake in Sunrise Mentors Private Limited (“Coding Ninjas“) from its founders (the “Transaction“). The acquisition was structured as a share purchase from the founders.

The Transaction is significant for Info Edge as it consolidates full ownership of Coding Ninjas and strengthens its position in the ed-tech and career-skilling ecosystem. The acquisition enables closer integration of Coding Ninjas with Info Edge’s flagship recruitment platform, Naukri, unlocking business synergies and long-term growth opportunities.

The Transaction team was led by Vaibhav Kakkar (Senior Partner), along with Snigdhaneel Satpathy(Partner) and Debarpan Ghosh (Partner), and consisted of Sonia Mangtani (Associate) and Nikhil Surana (Associate).
