About the Job
CLPR is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate.
The role involves legal research, litigation support, advocacy work, and contributing to public outreach initiatives, along with assisting in project execution and administrative functions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with strong academic credentials
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Law, Public Policy, or related fields
- 0–3 years of experience in legal research, litigation, or policy advocacy
- Experience in areas such as Dalit/Adivasi rights, gender justice, disability rights, or minority rights
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice and rights-based research
Responsibilities
- Compile, organize, and analyze legal materials including case law, legislation, and policy documents
- Conduct doctrinal, comparative, and empirical research
- Draft reports, academic papers, policy briefs, and blog posts
- Support workshops, consultations, and public events
- Assist in project management, documentation, and reporting
- Contribute to outreach activities including website, newsletters, and social media
- Coordinate with stakeholders including academics, civil society, and government officials
- Undertake administrative responsibilities as required
