Eligibility

Candidate should have a degree in LL.B./ LL.M

Responsibilities

• Legal Due diligence of title to the immovable property, including scrutinising and analysing various documents, vetting of original property documents and legal opinions, in cases of LAP, Home Purchase, Balance Transfer & Project approvals (APF), etc.
• Advising management, preparing a strategy involving stressed asset matters on a case-by-case basis.
• Providing legal opinion on various matters, including legal queries/issues raised by different business team(s) and management, on a case-by-case basis, and conducting online title searches of property on different government portals.
• Formulation of local policies in view of local land, stamp and revenue laws applicable to the particular state.
• Who can manage legal vendors with respect to empanelment and other issues, along with internal team handling experience
• Conducting of legal audit and training programmes for internal business, credit and OPS teams and good command over civil laws, Transfer of Property Act, Contract act, land laws, and good knowledge about arbitration laws and recovery process including SARFAESI act.
• Must have experience of dealings and workings of SR offices of the relevant state in conducting search, registration of documents, checking of land records etc.
• Candidate must be agreed to travel business locations in case of need for business purposes or for training and quality purposes.
• Drafting and replying of legal notices, vetting and drafting of customer replies, negotiating and finalization of legal documents including loan and security documents, drafting of assignment, memorandum of understandings, undertakings, nonstandard agreements, indemnities, and affidavits etc. in transactions including loan against property and Home Loans, on case-to-case basis with other related loan products.
• Providing legal inputs for development of loan products or structuring of commercial transactions.
• Advocacy and bankable documentations relating to real estate & housing finance, for different corporate Verticals, including representation to various Regulatory Authority(ies) / Governmental Agency(ies).
