About the Job

Wolters Kluwer is hiring for the role of Purchasing and Procurement Associate within the Center of Excellence of its Global Business Services division. The role focuses on procurement operations, contract lifecycle management, sourcing support, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination to ensure effective contract compliance and procurement support.

Purchasing and Procurement Associate

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Candidates with a legal background will be preferred, though a law degree is not mandatory.
  • 1–2 years of contract management experience involving internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and multiple internal functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Teams.
  • Experience with procurement tools such as Coupa, Icertis, Ariba, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Experience with e-signature tools such as Adobe Sign or DocuSign will be preferred.
  • Procurement experience and the ability to read and understand commercial contractual terms and conditions are necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Work on transactions for assigned sub-functions such as procurement helpdesk, contract administration, procurement operations, sourcing support, and catalog management.
  • Create contract records and route contracts for approvals and execution.
  • Add and update metadata and alerts for contracts.
  • Ensure timely approval and execution of contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on contract renewals and requisition review.
  • Abstract and migrate contracts into the contract repository.
  • Maintain business documents, including the contract repository and supporting purchase documents.
  • Contribute to SOPs and workflow documents.
  • Manage ad hoc projects and queries related to contract search and analysis.
  • Highlight and escalate roadblocks or bottlenecks in processes and requests.
  • Suggest and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Mode

Work from office for 3 days a week

Shift Timings

Candidates should be flexible to work in multiple shifts, including:

  • 3:00 PM IST to 12:00 AM IST
  • 6:00 PM IST to 3:00 AM IST

Additional Information

The role offers exposure to various sub-functions of procurement operations, with candidates expected to spend a minimum of three to six months in each sub-function and contribute ideas relating to process improvement, customer service, and transaction quality.
