Punjab Judicial Services Exams Previous Year Question Papers

Punjab Civil Services Exam (Judicial Branch) Exam [PPSC (JB)] is conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) jointly with Hon’ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana every year. The vacancies for the Punjab Civil Services Exam (Judicial Branch) Exam for the year 2022 has been notified by the Punjab Public Service Commission however, the Punjab Public Service Commission is yet to announce the official dates for the conduct of the exam for Punjab Civil Services Exam (Judicial Branch) Exam recruitment 2022.
Punjab Judicial Services Exam 2022: Exam Pattern
The Punjab Civil Services Exam (Judicial Branch) Exam is conducted in three stages namely Preliminary, Mains & Viva-voce. The details regarding these stages of the exam are as follows:

Preliminary Examination Syllabus for Punjab Judicial Services Exam 2022 Exam 2022
- The Prelims Question Paper Examination shall consist of Objective type questions.
- There will be 125 questions for 4 Mark each and with negative marking of 0.20% of 4 Marks for each wrong answer.
- Time Duration shall be 2 hours to attempt the paper.
- Candidates qualifying the Prelims Exams shall be eligible to appear for Mains Examination.
Mains Examination for Punjab Judicial Services Exam 2022 Exam 2022
- Mains Examination consists of five papers & shall be conducted in descriptive answer writing format with 3 hours allotted to attempt the paper.
- The Mains Exam Paper I to IV question paper shall be conducted for 200 marks (In Total) while Mains Exam paper V shall be conducted for 150 marks.
- The Five question papers of Mains Examination shall consist of:
- Paper I: Civil Law I
- Paper II: Civil Law II
- Paper III: Criminal Law
- Paper IV: English
- Paper V: Language
- The minimum qualifying marks in the language paper Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script) shall be 33%.
Viva-Voce for Punjab Judicial Services Exam 2022
Those candidates who clear Mains Exams with at least 50% score on all five papers shall be called for Viva-voce which constitute 100 Marks in Total. The language of Viva-voce shall be English. The final merit will be prepared on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the main examination & viva-voce.
