All About Telangana Judicial Services Exam 2022

Telangana Judicial Services exam is conducted by Telangana High Court, Hyderabad for recruitment of Civil Judges (Junior Division) in the Telangana state. The vacancies for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the Telangana Judicial Services Exam 2022 were released on 06th May 2022 and its Preliminary Exam was conducted recently on 13th August 2022 while the dates of Mains Examination are yet to be announced.
Those candidates who are interested in becoming Civil Judge in Telangana State and have not appeared for this year exam will have to appear for the Telangana Judicial Services Exam 2023. The vacancies & exam dates for the next Telangana Judicial Services Exam 2023 will be notified by the Telangana High Court & the 2023 exam notification shall be available on the official website of the Telangana High Court viz. https://tshc.gov.in/index.jsp

Telangana Judicial Services Exam 2022: Exam Pattern
The Telangana Judicial Services Exam 2022 is conducted in three stages namely Preliminary, Mains & Viva-voce. (Interview) The details regarding these stages of the exam are as follows:

Preliminary Examination
- The Prelims Question Paper Examination shall consist of Objective type questions.
- There will be 100 questions for 100 marks (1 mark Each) with no negative marking.
- Time Duration shall be 2 hours to attempt the paper.
- Candidates qualifying the Prelims Exams with minimum 40% marks shall be eligible to appear for Mains (Written) Examination.
Mains Examination
- Mains Examination consists of three papers & shall be conducted in descriptive or Narrative type answer writing format with 3 hours allotted for each paper
- Every paper shall carry 100 Marks each.
- The four question papers of Mains Exam shall consist of:
- Paper I: Civil Law (100 Marks)
- Paper II: Criminal Law (100 Marks)
- Paper III: English & Translation (100 Marks)
- Candidates who secure minimum 55% Marks in each paper & minimum 60% in aggregate in all papers (For General Category) while Minimum 45% in each paper (For (Reserved category) shall be called for personal interview.
Interview Round
Those candidates who clear Mains Exams shall be called for Interview Round which constitute 50 Marks in Total. The final merit will be prepared on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the main examination & viva-voce.
