About the Competition
On World Consumers Rights Day, which falls on the 15th of March 2024, an engaging and thought-provoking event is set to take place – a Poster Making Competition centered around the theme of ‘Fair and Responsible AI for Consumers’. This event aims to highlight the crucial role of artificial intelligence in the modern consumer landscape, emphasizing the importance of ethical and responsible AI practices.
Participants are encouraged to express their creative insights through visually compelling posters that raise awareness about consumer rights, data privacy, and the ethical use of AI technologies. The competition serves as a platform to engage the community in meaningful conversations about the intersection of technology and consumer welfare, fostering a deeper understanding of the impact of AI on our daily lives. Through this initiative, World Consumer Day not only celebrates the rights and choices of consumers but also underscores the significance of incorporating fairness and responsibility in the development and deployment of AI systems.
Art has been a medium of expressing one’s thoughts and ideas since time immemorial. The poster-making competition is to bring out the ideas of fellow students and arouse in them a feeling of nationalism.
