About the Internship

Poovayya & Co. has opened applications for its Assessment Internship Program – Batch of 2027, which serves as the firm’s primary pathway for onboarding fresh legal talent.

Fresh graduates can join the firm exclusively through this assessment programme. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to intern with the firm and gain exposure to its professional practice while being evaluated for future opportunities.

Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy all of the following requirements:

• Final-year LL.B. or LL.M. student.
• Ranked within the top 25% of their class.
• Minimum 2 publications.
• Minimum 2 national or international moot court experiences.

Duration

• Internship period: October 2026 – March 2027.
• Duration may range from 1 to 3 months.
• Internship periods may be split across semester breaks.

Stipend

All Assessment Interns will receive a stipend.

Selection Process

Fresh graduates can be considered for opportunities at Poovayya & Co. only through this Assessment Internship Program.
