About the Opportunity

PNYX’26 – 1st Online Memorial Drafting Competition is an initiative by the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa. The competition aims to refine participants’ legal drafting, research, and analytical skills by engaging them in the preparation of memorials for both sides of a hypothetical legal dispute.

Theme

The competition is centred around a moot proposition, accessible via QR code provided in the brochure, challenging participants to draft memorials for both Petitioner and Respondent.

Eligibility

According to the competition guidelines:

• Open to students pursuing LL.B. (3-year/5-year) or LL.M. from any recognized university.
• Teams may consist of one or two members.
• Unlimited teams may register from the same institution.
• Cross-institutional teams are permitted.
• Team composition cannot be changed after registration without approval from the Organising Committee.

Registration Fee

• ₹499 – Team of Two
• ₹299 – Individual Participation

Fees are non-refundable and must be paid exclusively through the CHRIST University web payment portal under Events/Fests – PNYX’26. Participants must upload the payment invoice in the Google registration form.

Prizes

• Winner: ₹5,000
• Runner-Up: ₹2,500
• E-certificates will be awarded to all participants.

• Last Date of Seeking Clarifications: 8 December 2025
• Last Date of Registration: 27 December 2025 [Extended]

• Memorial Submission Deadline: 5 January 2026
• Release of Results: 15 January 2026

2. Pay the registration fee through the CHRIST University web payment portal under Events/Fests → PNYX’26 (Provided in the brochure).
3. Upload the payment invoice screenshot in the submission form.
4. After registration, teams will be assigned Team Codes for memorial submission.
