About the Organisation

The Legal Aid Committee, School of Law & Justice, Adamas University, Kolkata, is a proactive academic body dedicated to fostering legal awareness, access to justice, and research-driven discourse on pressing socio-legal issues. The Committee regularly organizes conferences, workshops, and research initiatives aimed at bridging theory with practice and encouraging meaningful legal engagement among students, scholars, and professionals.

This International Conference is being organized in collaboration with National Law University, Tripura, a prestigious NAAC Grade ‘A’ institution, ensuring a strong academic foundation and a diverse intellectual exchange at both national and international levels.

About the Conference

The International Conference on “Human–Animal Conflict: Bridging Gaps Towards Sustainable Coexistence” addresses one of the most urgent and evolving challenges of our time. Rapid urbanization, infrastructure expansion, and environmental degradation have significantly intensified interactions between humans and wildlife, resulting in legal, ethical, economic, and conservation dilemmas.

The conference aims to bring together legal scholars, judges, policymakers, conservationists, technologists, community leaders, insurers, and civil society organisations to critically examine existing legal frameworks and propose sustainable, humane, and evidence-based solutions for coexistence.

The event will be conducted in Hybrid Mode, enabling participation from both national and international delegates.

About the Call for Papers

The Organising Committee invites original, unpublished abstracts and full-length research papers from academicians, researchers, students, legal practitioners, and professionals. Submissions should focus on critical analysis, innovative policy approaches, and interdisciplinary perspectives concerning human–animal conflict and sustainable coexistence.

Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions must be original and unpublished.
  • Abstract selection is mandatory for paper presentation.Selected authors must submit their full papers within the prescribed timeline.Plagiarism standards shall strictly comply with UGC norms.
  • The Organising Committee reserves the right to accept or reject submissions based on quality, relevance, and originality.

Registration Fees

For Indian Presenters

  • Academicians / Professionals: ₹1000
  • Research Scholars: ₹700
  • Students: ₹500

For International Presenters

  • Academicians / Professionals: USD 20
  • Research Scholars: USD 15
  • Students: USD 10

For Offline Participants (Without Paper Presentation)

Participation: ₹500

Note: The registration fee includes conference kit, working lunch, and certificate of participation/presentation.

Registration Process

Participants are required to complete the online registration form after receiving confirmation of abstract acceptance. Registration fees must be paid only after acceptance.

Registration and Submission Deadline (Important Dates)

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 11th January 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: 30th January 2026
  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: 10th February 2026
  • Conference Dates: 13th–14th February 2026

Submission Procedure

  • All abstracts and papers must be submitted only through the official Google Form.
  • Email submissions will not be accepted.
  • Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of two authors.
  • In case of co-authors from different categories, separate registration fees shall apply individually.
