Established in 2008, the Victor Dantas Law College is a prestigious institution under the Victor Dantas Charitable and Education Foundation, dedicated to providing high-quality legal education. It is officially approved by the Government of Maharashtra, the Bar Council of India, and affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
About the Opportunity
Victor Dantas Law College has been Organising the Moot Court Competitions for the past 4 Years at Regional and State Level. Considering the growing attention towards Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanisms by Honourable Courts as well as Judiciary, College organised its First National Level Mediation, Client Counselling and Letter to CJI competition in year 2024-25, which received immense response.
More than 40 participant Teams including Colleges and Law Universities across India participated in the Event which was hosted in hybrid mode (online + offline). The Judges comprised of practicing Advocates and Retired Judges which helped participants gain immense knowledge and guidance during their sessions.
College is hosting its 2nd National Level Client Counselling, Mediation and Letter to Chief Justice Competition this year and looking forward to participations from various esteemed Colleges and Universities across India which enables all Law aspirants to portray their skills and share knowledge. The event would be conducted in Hybrid Mode (Initial Round through Online mode) and Final Rounds at Campus (offline).
Eligibility
a. For National Level Client Counselling Competition
This Competition is open to students pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in the current academic year i.e. 2025-26 in a three-year course or five years course in Law from any recognized School/College/University in India.
b. For National Level Mediation Competition
This Competition is open to students pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in the current academic year i.e. 2025-26 in a three-year course or five years course in Law from any recognized School/College/University in India.
c. For National Level Letter to Chief Justice of India Competition
This Competition is open to students pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in the current academic year i.e. 2025-26 in a three-year course or five years course in Law from any recognized School/College/University in India.
Registration Fee
- For National Level Client Counselling Competition and National Level Mediation Competition (combined) – Rs. 3,000/- per Team
- For National Level Letter to Chief Justice of India Competition – Rs. 800/- per Team

a. For National Level Client Counselling Competition
- Winner Team – Trophy+ Certificate of Merit
- Second Prize Winner – Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- Best Counsel – Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- All participants will be issued participation certificates.
b. For National Level Mediation Competition
