About the Lexis and Company

LEXIS AND COMPANY is a full-service law firm, with a PAN India presence, providing innovative legal solutions to its domestic as well as international clients. The firm offers a large portfolio of legal services. We are headquartered at New Delhi with branch offices in Mumbai and Lucknow and network offices at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata and Goa.

About the Internship

At LAC our motto is to strive for legal excellence, by assuring (instead of making sure) that all the demands of our clients are fulfilled as per their convenience and that they leave fully satisfied from the services we provide.

At Lexis and Company, we do not believe in the monotonous way of practicing law, and hence one day, Dr. Anupam Kumar Mishra (Founder and Advocate) came up with LAC-VIP, a platform where students, advocates and scholars can engage in knowledge sharing sessions based upon their experiences, which will help them impart quality legal education and also enhance their various advocacy skills. Therefore, with this vision, LAC presents the Virtual Internship Programme (VIP), a project for all those candidates who are really interested in becoming a resourceful member of this noble profession. The curriculum for this programme has been planned in such a way that by the end of their tenure, each candidate will have both theoretical and practical insights into various disciplines of law, which will help them become sound professionals and future leaders.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Regular guidance on drafting, writing research papers, blogs, articles, case analysis, and presentation skills.

2. Various events and Live session based upon the Practical topics, clients counselling, Court Procedures and practices, Drafting, Law Firm Management, current legal, Current affairs, economic and socio-political issues, Resume Building, career coaching, Legal Practice and Procedures, and many others.

Registration

Each batch shall have the limited seats only. Every month we start a new batch on 01st of the month and 15th of the month. Applicant have the liberty to choose the batch as per their availability and choice. Registration shall be done on a first come first serve basis and open to all. Eligibility

All Law Students either of 3 years LLB program, or 5 Years LLB program, or Students of LLM program, or Newly Enrolled Advocates with any State Bar Council can apply. Only Indians Citizens or students who are pursuing or have pursued a Law Degree in India, or eligible to practice Legal profession in India are only eligible to apply.

Perks

E-Certificate for all the interns who complete their Internship successfully for a minimum period of 30 working days.
All Interns who completes the internship (LAC-VIP) successfully for a minimum period of 30 working days will get a chance to pursue Physical Internship Program with LEXIS AND COMPANY at our office in Janakpuri, New Delhi, depending upon the availability of the slots.
