About the Course

The Certificate Course on Patents (CCP) is an academic initiative of the University of Delhi in collaboration with a distinguished network of academicians, scientists, legal professionals, and policymakers. The course is coordinated by the Research Council of the University and designed to offer interdisciplinary exposure to the world of Intellectual Property, especially Patents. The course is driven by the institution’s commitment to promoting awareness, capacity building, and legal-technical understanding of the patenting system among students, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and legal professionals.

Eligibility

• Students who are 12th pass, currently pursuing graduation, or have completed graduation in any discipline are eligible to apply.
• No prior background in science or law is mandatory, making it accessible to learners from all fields*.

Duration

• The course runs from September 1st to December 2025 (approximately three months).
• Total contact hours: 60 hours (48 hours online + 12 hours offline).
• Classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays, 2 hours per session.
