About Adv Abhishek Naik

Abhishek is an advocate practicing primarily in the area of indirect taxation (GST, Customs, and pre-GST laws). He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Abhishek has been advising clients on various aspects of GST, right from its inception in 2017. More specifically, he has carried out GST impact analysis, assisted clients in migrating to the new tax regime, advised on tax optimization strategies, structuring of supply chains, and on issues concerning taxability, input tax credits, exemptions, etc.

About the Internship

•  looking to induct interns who are interested in exploring the field of taxation.
• Practice area- Indirect Taxation – Litigation, Advisory, Policy Advocacy, and Research
  (Goods and Services Tax, Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, Value Added Tax)

Eligibility

• Law students who have completed at least two years of the five-year integrated course
• Law students who have completed at least one year of the three-year course
• Chartered Accountancy students who have completed their articleship training
• Previous experience in the field of taxation will be preferred but is not mandatory.
• Superior legal writing
• Good command of English
• In-depth research

Duration of Internship

Minimum two months, extendable thereafter. The joining date will be mutually decided. Please indicate your preferred months in the covering note.
