About Manipal University Jaipur
Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) was launched in 2011 on an invitation from the Government of Rajasthan as a self-financed State University. About the Opportunity
The National Legal Hackathon is designed to provide participants with a platform to combine legal knowledge, technological skills and creative problem-solving to address real-world challenges in consumer protection.
The theme/problem statement will be unveiled on the day of the competition itself, giving participating teams the opportunity to think on their feet, analyse the given legal and technological challenge, develop a solution and present it before the jury.
Team composition & eligibility
Each team will consist of 3 members. The team must include:
- At least 1 Law/Legal Studies student – to contribute legal research and analysis, particularly relating to consumer protection laws and regulations.
- At least 1 Technology/Technical student – to contribute to the technological, coding or development aspects of the proposed solution.
- 1 member from any academic discipline – the third member is not restricted to Law, B.Tech or any particular stream and may belong to any academic background.
This interdisciplinary structure is intended to bring together legal expertise, technological capabilities and diverse perspectives to develop practical and innovative solutions.
